Details

Altar Servers

This ministry is open to any registered member of the parish who is nine years of age or older.  Altar Servers assist the Celebrant at the weekend Masses and special liturgies such as Holy Week.

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion

These ministers assist the Celebrant and facilitate the reception of Holy Communion by a large congregation.  Needed are registered members of St. Peter’s who are willing to fulfill scheduled assignments; must be at least sixteen years of age or have already received the Sacrament of Confirmation.

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion to the Sick

These ministers unite, as much as possible, our sick and shut-ins with our faith community.  They take the Eucharist to the infirm or homebound.  For more information or to volunteer, contact Sister Margaret Mary Liang at the Parish office.

Greeters

These volunteers provide a warm and genuine welcome at weekend Masses to parishioners and visitors to the faith community of St. Peter’s.  Needed are friendly faces willing to fill scheduled assignments.

Lectors

These ministers proclaim the Word of God at weekend Masses and other liturgical celebrations.  Anyone desiring to proclaim the Word of the Lord who has good public reading and speaking skills is welcome.  It is required that you rehearse the readings beforehand, fulfill assigned times and attend workshops when scheduled.

Ushers

These responsible members of St. Peter’s coordinate Mass functions in regard to seating, collections, traffic flow, etc.   Needed are those willing to fulfill scheduled assignments.
