Adult Education Ministry

The Adult Education Ministry at St. Peter's strives to provide opportunities for parishioners to learn more about their faith, to grow spiritually, and to get to know others. Along with Education Commission of the Pastoral Council (see Education Commission page) various programs and presentations are offered of a theological, doctrinal, spiritual or biblical focus. All adult parishioners and visitors are invited to attend these programs.

The Adult Education sessions are offered most Sunday mornings at 9:45 A.M. We have a Jerome Tanner Scripture Study every Sunday Morning at 9:45 A.M. in the Parish Office.

R.C.I.A -- The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is a process designed for individuals who are considering joining the Catholic Church. Adults who have not been baptized and those who have been baptized in other Christian denominations are invited to explore the catholic faith through a process of study, reflection, worship and service. The Sacraments of Initiation: Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist are usually celebrated with these individuals annually at the Easter Vigil.

New classes for RCIA will begin September 7, 2010, at 7:00 P.M.  If you or someone you know would like to participate in this program, please call the office at 205.822.4480 ext 26.
